5 for Friday

Today is a big day for me. I'm leaving my job after 6 years, and hopping on an airplane for Ecuador where through photography and drawing I'll be documenting the work of a surgical mission ( http://ismission.org/ ). And then I do my final preparations for the move to Switzerland, hopefully by the end of May. But, until then, I'd like to share a few portraits I recently did. I wonder if they will change after I've moved to Europe.

Progress

What's on my mind today is I'm now into my final two months here in NYC, after just over 26 years of almost nonstop habitation. Some very exciting things are happening, transitions and progress. As many of you know, I got married one month ago. Next up: leaving my job of the last 6 years, a week and a half in Ecuador to document the work of a surgical charity, the opening of a group show at Mystic Seaport, emptying my apartment, moving to Geneva, learning a language and, greatest of all, spending all my days being in the same time zone as my wonderful wife. So, in honor of life transitions, I have here a couple images that were progressively saved and adjusted as I was drawing them.
